Armistice Day Sunday 11th November 2018

On Sunday 11th November 2018 the bells were rung at Holmer half-muffled before the service. The muffles were then removed, after the bells were rung down. After the service we rung open and then Holmer Bellringers went on tour. Hayley and Dan went to Withington during the service at Holmer. We then all went to Vowchurch, Peterchurch, Tyberton, Holme Lacy and Wellington. We were ringing the bells where there are no ringers or insufficient to manage without help, on the day.
Sue has posted a report and some photos on her blog which can be accessed via this link. Sue's Blog
Pam has shared details of her Great Uncle who lost his life during World War One and also a picture of his brother, her Grandfather, who survived. See here
